For wool rugs, when it is newly unpacked, vacuum thoroughly 2–3 times to help remove loose fibres. Shedding is normal for wool rugs and will reduce over time; this is not a defect. Professional cleaning is recommended annually. Vacuum regularly. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent colour fading. Blot spills immediately with a clean white absorbent cloth.
