LUM is a project of passion inspired by our desire to share our stories through craftsmanship, expressed through both the visual and olfactory senses. Influenced by travels over a life long journey of discovery, our designs have their origins in our European heritage which bred in us a love of aesthetic and beauty in its many forms. ILUM comes from the Latin word Illuminare, to enlighten. We hope our designs enlighten your home and your life.

One of our family here at ILUM, ran the world's toughest race, the Marathon des Sables in the Sahara dessert. This design is for him. The circular patterns represent the sand dunes and the searing heat of the sun. At night and in the early morning a fragrant breeze flowed through the dessert and would fill the senses with an intense accord of soft bergamot, scorching incense and soft woody notes.
